Welcome to The Basics of Safe Lifting and Transfers!!  PLEASE NOTE:  If it has been less than 365 days since you last took this course, you will not receive credit at this time.  Please check your personal records before proceeding. 

Where Information is Located
All information for this course is located on the left side navigation bar. The "Course Information" link shows you the information that will be offered throughout the course. The "Course Material" link has all the lessons about safe lifting and transfers. The "Bibliography" link shows you a list of references used in this course. The "External Links" link shows websites for additional information on safe lifting and transfers.

What Do I Do After I've Completed the Course?
Once you have completed the course material and answered the true and false questions throughout the course, you may now print your certificate of completion by clicking the “Continue” button on the last slide of the course material. This will take you to a page where you need to fill out your personal information and an optional survey.  Once you have filled out your personal information, there is a button on the bottom of the screen that says “Show My Certificate”.  Simply click this button and you will be able to print your certificate by using your web browser’s PRINT button.  You can click on the “Return to Main Menu” button in the left side button bar to go back to the main menu and select another course. If you do not want to take another course, simply close your browser window to exit this system.
